അഷ്‌ദോദ്, അഷ്‌കലോന്‍, ദെറോത്ത് തുടങ്ങിയ പ്രദേശങ്ങളിലേക്കാണ് മിസൈലുകള്‍ അയച്ചത്. കഴിഞ്ഞ ദിവസം വെസ്റ്റ്ബാങ്കില്‍ കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ട ജെനിന്‍ ബറ്റാലിയന്‍ കമാന്‍ഡര്‍ നൂര്‍ അല്‍ ബിത്‌വിക്കും യെമനിലെ സ്വതന്ത്രരായ ജനതക്കും വേണ്ടിയാണ് ഈ ആക്രമണം നടത്തുന്നത്. ഇസ്രായേലിന് എതിരെ ആക്രമണം നടത്തുന്ന അന്‍സാറുല്ല പ്രസ്ഥാനത്തിന്റെ നേതാവായ അബ്ദുല്‍ മാലിക് അല്‍ ഹൂത്തിയേയും ബ്രിഗേഡിയര്‍ ജനറല്‍ യഹ്‌യാ സാരിയെയും ഫീല്‍ഡ് കമാന്‍ഡര്‍ അഭിനന്ദിച്ചു.
