അല് ഖുദ്സ് (ജെറുസലേം): റമദാനിലെ വെള്ളിയാഴ്ച്ച 90,000 വിശ്വാസികള് മസ്ജിദുല് അഖ്സയില് ജുമുഅ നമസ്കാരത്തിനെത്തി. വിശ്വാസികളെ അടിച്ചമര്ത്താന് മൂവായിരത്തോളം പോലിസുകാരെയാണ് ഇസ്രായേല് വിന്യസിച്ചിരുന്നത്. അനുമതിയില്ലെന്ന് പറഞ്ഞ് നിരവധി പേരെ സയണിസ്റ്റ് പോലിസ് തിരിച്ചുവിട്ടെന്ന് ഫലസ്തീനി മാധ്യമമായ വാഫ റിപോര്ട്ട് ചെയ്തു.

55 വയസിന് മുകളില് പ്രായമുള്ള പുരുഷന്മാരെയും 50 വയസിന് മുകളില് പ്രായമുള്ള സ്ത്രീകളെയും 12 വയസിന് താഴെ പ്രായമുള്ള കുട്ടികളെയും മാത്രമേ മസ്ജിദില് പ്രവേശിപ്പിക്കൂ എന്ന നിലപാടാണ് ഇസ്രായേലി പോലിസ് സ്വീകരിച്ചത്. കൂടാതെ വിവിധ പ്രദേശങ്ങളില് ചെക്ക്പോസ്റ്റുകള് സ്ഥാപിച്ച് പരിശോധനകള് നടത്തുകയും ചെയ്തു.
